Airbus A300

The Airbus adventure started with the A300B. The A300 is the world’s first widebody twin-aisle commercial aircraft and performed its maiden flight in 1972, the first steps towards changing the face of modern aviation.


First A300 flight: OCTOBER 28, 1972
First A300 delivery: MAY 10, 1974 - to Air France
First A300B4 flight: DECEMBER 27, 1974
First A300B4 delivery: MAY 23, 1975 to Germanair.
The A300-600 makes its maiden flight: JULY 8, 1983 to Saudia

ex-N11984 Continental Airlines Airbus A300B4 preserved in South Korea as a Night Flight Restaurant.
ex-PK-JIB Sempati Air Airbus A300B4 repainted in first A300B1 prototype colours, including original F-WUAB registration, became an exhibit in 2014 at the Aeroscopia museum in Blagnac, near Toulouse, France
