🍲 Ndolé
Ndolé is a rich, slightly bitter stew made from ndolé leaves (a type of bitterleaf), slow-cooked with:
- Ground peanuts
- Fish, shrimp, or beef
- Onions, garlic, and spices
It’s typically served with plantains, rice, yam, or cassava. Ndolé is especially associated with the Douala people, but it’s enjoyed nationwide and often prepared for celebrations and guests.
