Destinations

Every journey begins with a place but it rarely ends there.

This page brings together the countries, regions and places I have visited so far, along with the destinations still waiting somewhere on the horizon. For me, travel is not about ticking boxes, but about slowly building a wider map of the world: one border crossing, one city, one conversation, one unexpected meal at a time.

Some places pulled me in with history. Others with landscapes, chaos, silence, architecture, food, or the simple feeling of being somewhere completely new. From the deserts of the Middle East to the cities of Europe, from African coastlines to Asian megacities, every destination adds another layer to the journey.

Countries I Have Visited

Below you can find the countries I have explored so far, grouped by continent. Some already have detailed guides, personal notes or travel stories attached; others are still waiting for a deeper write-up.

Countries Still on My List

The world remains wonderfully unfinished.

This section lists the countries I still hope to visit one day. Some are realistic next steps, others are distant dreams, but each one represents a future story, a new route, and another reason to keep moving.

Why This Page Exists

Quixotic Guide is built around curiosity: the kind that takes you beyond the obvious places and into the layered, complicated, beautiful reality of the world.

This page is both a travel record and a roadmap — a personal archive of where I have been, and a reminder of how much there still is to discover.
